Musculoskeletal imaging is discussed by comparing radiography with other complementary imaging modalities accessible to equine practitioners (especially ultrasound, but also MRI, CT and PET) through which additional information can be gained. The 9 hours of wetlabs (x-ray and ultrasound) on live horses and multi-modality case discussions provide plenty of opportunity for attendees to further develop their radiography, ultrasound and image interpretation skills under the supervision of two of the world’s most eminent equine diagnostic imaging clinicians.
